In 2018, after welcoming her daughter into the world, the founder began noticing developmental delays that no parent should have to face alone. What followed was years of hospital visits, therapy, medication, repeated assessments, and the painful reality of learning that her child had cerebral palsy, ADHD, and Down syndrome.
Instead of walking away from the pain, she chose to act. She began caring for children with disabilities, supporting families in crisis, and creating a refuge for those who had nowhere else to turn. What began as a deeply personal response to suffering grew into Olushi-Ehi Special Needs and Ability Foundation.
Today, the foundation provides shelter, therapeutic support, emotional care, food, hygiene essentials, school support, and practical help to children and families facing neglect, poverty, and disability-related challenges.
To support children living with disabilities and children in vulnerable circumstances through compassionate care, access to therapy, dignity, inclusion, and practical opportunities that help them thrive.
